Frequently Asked Questions
The five things people ask before placing an order.
The smaller Nisa pot is ideal for succulents, cacti, small herbs like basil or thyme, and other small houseplants. Its compact dimensions provide ample space for their growth, making it an elegant interior accent. Always ensure the chosen plant does not have an overly extensive root system.
The Nisa pot is primarily intended for indoor use. If made from PLA, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight or extreme temperatures that could damage the material. The PETG variant is more resistant to weather and higher temperatures, making it more suitable for short-term outdoor placement, such as on a covered balcony.
The main difference lies in the material and manufacturing process. 3D printed pots, like Nisa, are lighter and allow for complex geometric shapes that would be difficult to achieve with ceramics. Thanks to PLA or PETG material, they are shatter-resistant if dropped, an advantage over fragile ceramics. They also offer a wide range of color options.
We do not recommend washing the Nisa pot in a dishwasher. High temperatures and aggressive detergents in the dishwasher could cause deformation of the PLA or PETG material, as well as loss of color or shine. For maintenance, it is best to hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap to ensure the product's long lifespan.
The diameter of the plant opening for the smaller Nisa pot is approximately 70 mm. This size is designed to accommodate standard pots up to 60-65 mm in diameter, or for direct planting of smaller plants. For precise suitability, we recommend measuring the diameter of your plant's root ball or its original pot.
