Complaints Procedure
1. General Provisions
This complaints procedure governs the rights and obligations when filing complaints for goods purchased from Niro 3D. The complaints procedure is governed by Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.
2. Warranty Terms
We provide a statutory warranty of 24 months from the date of receipt. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material defects.
The warranty does not cover:
- Mechanical damage caused by improper handling
- Damage caused by use contrary to the intended purpose of the product
- Natural wear and tear of material
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures or UV radiation
- Modifications made by the customer (sanding, painting, gluing, etc.)
- Cosmetic defects on products marked as "second quality"
3. 3D Printing Specifics
3D printing is a manufacturing technology with its own characteristics. The following properties are considered normal and are not grounds for a complaint:
- Visible print layers - a natural characteristic of FDM/FFF printing
- Minor aesthetic imperfections on the bottom surface of the print
- Slight dimensional deviations (plus or minus 0.5 mm) caused by material properties
- Color deviations between different material production batches
- Marks from support structures
4. Complaint Process
To file a complaint, follow these steps:
- Contact us by email at info@niro3d.cz with a description of the defect
- Attach a photograph of the defect and your order number
- Wait for our instructions on how to proceed
- Following our instructions, send the goods to the specified address
We will resolve the complaint within 30 days of its submission at the latest.
5. Complaint Resolution
In the case of a justified complaint, you are entitled to:
- Free repair of the goods
- Replacement with new goods
- A reasonable discount from the purchase price
- A refund of the purchase price (in the case of a material breach of contract)
The method of complaint resolution is determined by the seller, taking into account the nature of the defect and the customer's preference.
6. Complaint Costs
In the case of a justified complaint, the seller bears the shipping costs for the complained goods. In the case of an unjustified complaint, the costs are borne by the customer.
