Custom 3D printing means you upload your 3D model, see the final price within seconds, and we make the part and ship it within 48 hours. There is no registration, no need to know the technical settings of a printer, and nothing to explain up front — send us an STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP file and we take care of the rest.

Three groups of customers use custom 3D printing today: individuals who need one specific part they cannot buy in a shop, companies ordering branded items with their logo, and people hunting for a replacement part for something broken or discontinued. They all want the same thing — a finished, working object, not printing instructions.

How custom 3D printing works in practice

The whole process is designed to take as little of your time as possible. On the custom 3D printing page you upload your file, the system calculates the price from the real path of the print head — not from an estimate — and you see immediately what the part costs. The order is done in under two minutes.

Prices start at about €2 for a small part. Larger quantities bring the price down by up to 40%, so corporate orders running into hundreds of pieces work out significantly cheaper per piece. Every part comes with a 24-month warranty, which is the standard you can count on in custom manufacturing.

Which files you can upload

We support four common formats: STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP. If you have a model made in any 3D program, it will almost certainly save to one of them. STEP suits technical parts coming out of CAD systems; STL and OBJ suit models from other applications.

No model yet? Not a problem. The page From idea to finished product walks through the whole process, from the first thought to delivery. Simple parts we can model in under 30 minutes, the consultation is free, and there are no hidden fees.

What can be made to order

Custom 3D printing covers a wide range of uses. Three categories come up most often:

Functional parts for the home and the workshop

A cable holder under a desk, a cabinet handle, a spacer, a drilling jig, a protective cover for a switch. These are the typical orders from individuals who need to solve one specific problem in one specific place. We make the part to your exact dimensions, so it fits to the millimetre.

Corporate branding and gifts

Keychains with a logo, business card stands, promotional items for a trade fair, small functional components for your own product. For companies we offer custom 3D printing with the option of larger runs at a preferential price. We deliver across Europe, and production takes place in Prague 5.

Replacement parts for anything

A broken wheel on a vacuum cleaner, a missing cap on a remote, a snapped car mount. Instead of chasing down an expensive original or throwing out the whole product, upload the model and have the part printed. If you do not have a model, we will help you create one.

How to prepare a file for custom 3D printing

Preparing a file is easier than people expect. You do not need to worry about wall thickness, supports or model orientation — that is our job. Just follow three basic rules:

  1. The model must be closed — no holes in the surface. Most 3D programs can check a model for watertightness.
  2. Dimensions in millimetres — make sure the model is at real scale. A common mistake is a model in inches, which then comes out 25× too big.
  3. Separate parts separately — if you need several pieces, upload them as individual files, or as one file containing several objects.

Once the file is uploaded, the system works out the price on its own and you see what the part costs. The full online process is described on the Custom 3D print online page, which also includes specific price examples.

How long delivery takes

We dispatch the part within 48 hours of the order. Transit time then depends on the destination country. Larger runs take longer depending on quantity, but we always tell you the date in advance.

Why choose custom 3D printing from Niro3D

Plenty of services on the market offer custom 3D printing. Our approach differs in several ways:

  • An instant final price — no waiting for a quote, no hidden fees.
  • A price from real data — calculated from the print head path, not estimated from volume.
  • No registration — upload a file and the price appears straight away.
  • A 24-month warranty — on every part, without exception.
  • Made in Prague — parts are produced locally, not through a reselling chain.

Whether you need a single cable holder or hundreds of keychains with your logo, custom 3D printing is the fastest route from idea to finished product. Upload a file, get the price and order — the whole thing takes less than two minutes.
